He came, he saw, he conquered...
Playing with Grandchildren
The storm hit with a friendly fury,
Destroying loneliness and boredom,
Sweeping even strangers into timid submission.
As it refreshingly breezed through,
Scripting melodious poems in an unknown language,
Pristine love thundered through our veins.
Giving a slap here, a scratch there, a peering look,
With a tickling, feathery brush that wafted a lullaby,
Melting our hearts into blissful tranquility.
Displaying all-conquering innocence in its ferocity,
Showering sweet downpours of energy and happiness,
That linger with vibrant vigor till it returns in its splendor.
The Elder Brother
The one who calls his younger sibling "my baby,"
Jumping Jack, Flying Disc, Galloping Stallion,
Competing only with the sun in energy levels,
A tornado that brings thunderous pleasure.
Our pains and aches, worries, and concerns—
How do they vanish like melting mist,
Breezing forth the kingdom of happiness,
When we just look at this wonder kid?
This beautiful piece captures the boundless joy and vibrant energy of your grandchildren perfectly!
