Before turning 50, I had minimal interaction with cameras, mostly managing a few poorly taken photos that I never cared about. But then, something changed. My fascination with electronic gadgets, which began with stereos and evolved through various iterations from mono to stereo to CD and VCD players, extended to cameras.


My younger son, aware of my gadget obsession, gifted me a large Sony Stereo CD/VCD player during one of his visits. This only deepened my addiction to electronics. When I first visited the USA, my son's big screen computer and camcorder captured my interest. The camcorder, in particular, intrigued me with its zoom feature and the ability to take stills while recording video. My fascination with gadgets was now fully immersed in the world of image capturing.


I took to recording everything I encountered with the camcorder, often neglecting its primary user—my son. From supermarkets to random moments, I would constantly film, driven by my fascination with the camcorder's buttons and features. My enthusiasm was such that I would record even the most mundane sights, just to play with the device.
