Recliner Reminiscences

God spoke
Crevices in the mountains, faults in the earth plates
The gorges and canyons, faults of other mortal men,
How efficient you are to notice all these, BUT
My love why have you forgotten to look inside?
God uttered
The destruction by the seething sea, , the fire that burns the forest,
The winds that blow away megaliths , the war between nations,
How wonderful you were to observing and cursing these, BUT
My Angels, why you couldn’t destroy your own hatreds?
God said
The unfailing rise of the sun, the life-sustaining falls of rain,
The freshness of the whistling breeze, the expanse of the sky,
How confidently you believe they will follow the Law, BUT
My children why you didn’t discipline your own self with good habits?
The freedom of the flying birds, the unrestricted paths in space,
The unrestrained beauties of nature, the symmetry of creation
How happy you were at these gifts of Nature, BUT
My reflection, why did you forget toexercise free-will properly?
God cried
Oh my creation, when will you love Me
And not what I give?
