In one of the earlier posts, I mentioned the relaying of tiles in one of the bathrooms. It looks great and seems to be non-skid. All fine. But now, the two main bathrooms in the house have different tiling. Inwardly, the nervous anxiety about who is going to pick on this and cause discomfort to us is raking my whole body.

Coming back to the main topic, after every bath, I was getting burps for a long time. I gathered, whether as usual without understanding I watched a YouTube video or as occasionally I do consult someone, that this may be related to swallowing air during a shower. So, I consciously somehow made it a practice not to swallow air, and it worked.

As I said earlier, the first house I built had a simple bathroom. Just enter. The reconstructed new house has a bathroom with a toilet and hence a glass partition. It took some time to get used to not banging against the fragile glass door and climbing down an inch or so to the bath area. In my second son’s house, it is a bathtub with not screens but a glass partition and door. The tub is at least one and a half feet high. So, lift your leg and carefully place it inside. In my elder son's house, it is a small, cute one with anything you need within easy reach. The glass door swings both ways, so "don’t lean on it."

In my younger age, I never even dreamt of different types of bathrooms to navigate or different types of taps and showers. But I am proving to be an expert.

Sightless sojourns.
